Dagupan, Philippines (Mar. 26, 2009) – Almost a thousand Nursing graduating students from different universities and colleges in Dagupan gathered at Dagupan Astrodome to witness Mr. Arthur Cantos RN, MAN, USRN talk about Critical Thinking at Bedside and Five Minute Assessment. This FREE seminar was sponsored by American Dream in coordination with the University of Pangasinan. Moreover, the event was graced by the presence of UPANGs Dean, College of Nursing Prof. Maria Bernadette G. Cabugao, UPANGs Level IV Coordinator – College of Nursing Prof. Zenaida F. Bautista and UPANGs Chair, Advancxed Professional Courses Prof. Benedicta V. Dela Cruz during the seminar. Their attendance was greatly appreciated.

Furthermore, the success of the event is credited to our Dagupan staff, namely: Ms. Rochelle Cabario and Ms. Nathalie Wirene Ledda. Excellent job! All your hard work really paid off. Congratulations! Bulacan, Philippines (Mar. 27, 2009) – After a whole year of being together for their Enhancement program, we, the AmDream staff and management, bid farewell (wishing it’s not forever) to our URC students last March 27, 2009. Dr. Joseph Aricheta, one of the contributors of the bestseller Public Health Nursing book, delivered a brief inspirational talk.

We came up with the activity bearing in mind that our students needed all the support they could get. We all knew too well how the pressures at home and in school are greatly affecting them. But as they say, success is never laid out in a silver platter. One has to work real hard for it. We trust that Dr. Aricheta’s message of confidence and encouragement gave them enough motivation to work hard to reach their dreams. We sincerely hope that AmDream has made a contribution to their personal as well as professional growth. In this way, we can proudly claim a share of whatever distinction they may gain in the future.

Congratulations to the newly registered nurses. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 32,617 or 41.87% out of 77,901 examinees passed the Nursing Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Sulu, Pagadian and Zamboanga last June 6-7, 2009.
