eACLS Training Course

With continuing education credits in the United States. The medical content is provided by the ACEP and is conducted by Basic Lifesaving Solutions together with American Dream Review Institute.

Pre- requisite

1. Participant must have undergone or possesses an unexpired CPR and AED course completion card (PRO CPR).
2. Fundamental knowledge on advance Cardiac Life Support.

Skills testing: The initial phase of the course can be done online. After completion of the initial phase, the students then proceed to the skills portion.

1. Once the participant presented his/her eACLS “Completion Acknowledgement“, the participant can now proceed with the skills testing to be conducted by an eACLS accredited training center.
2. Prior to the skills testing, a Pre- test will be given to the participant
3. The following four (4) skill testing stations are to be accomplished and SATISFACTORILY PASS:
   1. Airway and ventilation management
   2. ECG recognition and Treatment modalities
   3. CPR/AED
   4. Cardiac Arrest Management (Mega code)
4. Course coordinator will conduct theory- demonstration discussion on the four (4) skills category prior to the Return Demonstration.

eACLS completion cards are directly issued by ACEP with a 2 year validity.

Upon successful completion the participant will recieved completion cards with the following credits: CEU

• 6 hours of AMA Category 1 CME credit and 6 hours of ACEP Category I CME credit for physicians.
• 6 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME credit for physician assistants.
• 6. 8 clinical CEH for nurses provided by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)
• 6 Advanced Continuing Education Hours (CEH) provided by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) for ALS pre-hospital providers.

First Aid & CPR training is very important for every individual. You will never know the need for first aid since an emergency or an accident may happen anytime. American Dream Review is in partnership with Basic Lifesaving Solutions, a training center that is highly accredited by Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI). Below are the details of the First Aid (BLS) and Professional Rescuer CPR with AED & ECG:

• The training will be conducted for 3 days @8:00a.m-5:00p.m. (The first day is intended for thorough lectures, and the rest of the days will be for return demonstrations, bandaging, etc.)
• A FREE Basic ECG Reading is included on the third day for learning purposes.
• After you have completed the course, you will be issued with a Certificate of Completion plus two International Completion Cards (one is for the First Aid which expires in 3 years, and the other one is for the Pro CPR that expires 2 years after—both cards are renewable in any accredited training center, may it be in the Philippines or in other countries)

In the Philippines, twenty thousand took the NCLEX-RN exam in 2007. Similar number of test takers is estimated in the current year. The PRC data reveals that almost
16,000 have taken the test as of September 30, 2008. Sixty percent of them came from Luzon, and 40% from Visayas and Mindanao.

A minimum of 2 office staff: 1 Nurse Admin and 1 Admin Assistant are needed to man the office. The manager, cashier, and marketing personnel can be designated or handled by the Franchisee themselves and allocate their own salaries.
